Meeting with Ofsted
10 July 2020

Although, given the current situation Humanities 20;20 has had to change most of its plans, members of the Humanities 20:20 steering group have had a constructive meeting with Iain Freeland, Her Majesty’s Inspector and Ofsted’s subject lead for Geography, to discuss the thinking behind Humanities 20:20 and how the learning and teaching of the humanities can be enhanced as part of a balanced and broadly-based primary curriculum. Iain updated us on the work of the subject leads for humanities subjects and Ofsted’s priorities. We hope to meet the other subject leads over the coming months.

We send our best wishes to all those involved in schools and teacher education for the summer break, after what has been for everybody a particularly demanding last few months.
