History education in the primary school

We thought that many teachers would find a presentation prepared by Professor Hilary Cooper useful, especially in teaching primary history. It is called Constructivist Approaches to History Education in the Primary School. While it was prepared for a presentation, it is fairly easy to understand without anyone explaining it. There have been problems uploading it to thiis site, but if you would like a copy please email Tony Eaude at tony@edperspectives.org.uk and he will email a pdf copy to you. Hilary has said that all teachers are welcome to make use of it. Our thanks to her for sharing this so generously.
